The COVD Pandemic is drawing to a rapid and welcome conclusion. I'm more than ready to be getting back to normal life.
Unfortunately, Bonnie Henry has Vaccine Derangement Syndrome. She hasn't noticed that most British Columbians now have the robust natural immunity of the Omicron-recovered. She hasn't noticed that much of Europe and largeparts of Canada have already returned to normal. So I remain in a sort of purgatory until Bonnie awakens to reality.
I do have other stuff I can get on with while I wait for Bonnie to emerge from her delusions. Today, I see no need to write much when other Substack writers are covering the important issues so eloquently.
Vinay Prasad is an MD and an epidemiologist. His Substack site is here. Vinay has been cautiously pro-vaccine throughout the pandemic, which means the mainstream press hasn't been able to dismiss him as a rabid anti-vaxxer. I suspect his Tablet piece detailing several examples of bad and politicized science by the CDC will get some attention in the mainstream press. Bari Weiss gives Vinay a guest post on her excellent site, for a different take on the same issue.
Steve Kirsch is tireless at digging for the facts. The story of the strange white, rubbery blood clots that embalmers have been finding in corpses in recent months will hit the mainstream soon - Kirsch will make sure of it.
Stephanie Brail covers stories others often miss. Here she has a guest post from Jennifer Sey, a former Levi top executive fired for advocating on behalf of children in her non-work hours.
Tara Henley is a former CBC journalist, now exiled to Substack. Here she does a Q&A with the Director of the Canadian Civil Liberties Association outlining what a dangerous precedent it sets to use the Emergencies Act in the current situation.
Vinay, Bari, Steve, Stephanie, and Tara all write for Substack. Can you can see now why the mainstream media is so hot to shut Substack down?
There will be a reckoning. At some point those in power will have to face the truth.
Here's another story-in-the-making that will come out eventually:
Deaths in the 25-44 age range were more than 25% higher than normal in 2020. In 2021, they are 45% higher than normal, and counting. (Death Certificates for December 2021 are still being processed.)
There's only three possibilities here:
a) COVID is killing young Americans at a hugely higher rate than young people are dying in other parts of the world.
b) Something else killed a frightening number of young Americans in 2020, and even more in 2021.
c) Some combination of a) and b) occurred.
Whatever the cause, there will be a reckoning. Those in charge will try to delay it as long as possible, but the reckoning will come. If the truth is what I suspect it is, there must be quite a number of important people starting to sweat, wondering if they will be able to avoid jail time.
Holy crap! That looks like the chart the government would show except its titled, vaccine survival rate, VS non-vaccine survival rate, except its quite the opposite knowing that is one of the possibilities of why this is happening...
Regarding the excess mortality chart, note too that through week five of this year for ages 25-44 the line is nearly the same as last year (5,706 excess deaths this year, compared to 6,008 at that point last year). It's a fairly safe bet at this point that 2022 will see another 50-60,000 excess deaths in that age category, unless (as I suspect will happen) the pace accelerates and eventually exceeds 2021. That's a shocking increase in working-age deaths over the last couple of years. I wonder what changed...
