Pandemic Is Over

If You Want It

I confess, I've already started to move on. With the whole family having survived Omicron easily, I can see that we are now just weeks from when COVID cases will collapse to almost nothing.

Yes, hospitals will be stretched over the next month. Yes, a lot of very old and frail (mostly vaccinated) seniors will die, but the total number won't be much higher than a normal flu season.

Normality will be returning soon. I'm looking forward to that, getting ready for it.

Be forewarned I may (gasp) write about issues other than COVID in the days ahead. Some days I may not write at all.

In the meantime, there has been a huge amount of new data, and some of it is fascinating.

VACCINE-INDUCED DELTA WAVE

Alex Berenson found Government of Alberta data indicating a huge spike in COVID cases in the first fourteen days post-vaccination. Want to greatly increase your chances of getting COVID in the next two weeks? Get vaccinated:

How can this be? We have to assume that vaccination distracts and ties up enough of your immune system to leave you temporarily vulnerable to COVID.

You will then show up in the data as an unvaccinated person catching COVID, because your infection will occur before the vaccine officially takes full effect. Talk about misleading data!

You want to know the absolute worst part of this story? The Government of Alberta pulled down it's own data a day later. You can still find it in the internet archives of the Wayback Machine, but the Alberta Government found its own information so embarrassing it censored itself.

IVERMECTIN IN UTTAR PRADESH

The Indian State of Uttar Pradesh completely crushed the Delta wave with 21,000 teams of lay people who provided early treatment kits to those infected. The WHO tried very hard to suppress information about what was in those kits. It's now come out that those kits included ivermectin:

EXCESS DEATHS IN THE US

We continue to get data that the death rate among young people in the US was 40% higher than normal in the year ending November 1st, 2021. This is way, way beyond the normal range.

This story was reported in the Epoch Times, which does a less-than-wonderful job of sourcing its data. That said, it fits with everything I've been reporting in recent months. It also fits with this data from USMortality.com. Select for the age range 25-44 years and you'll get this:

The green shaded area is the normal range of variation. Something has been killing an extra 100 or more young people a day since the start of the pandemic. It got even worse starting in June.

Some of the extra deaths are COVID. The majority are not. What's killing so many working-age Americans?

For all we know the same problem is occurring in Canada. Canada hasn't filed excess mortality data with the OECD since the end of June. If you look at the OECD data, even poor, Third World nations like Colombia can manage to file data in a more timely manner than Canada. Canada is flying blind into the future with data-tracking that can only be described as shockingly abysmal.

COVID THEATRE

Expect there to be more bashing of the unvaccinated in the weeks ahead. The powers that be are desperate to distract people from the obvious fact that Omicron has cut through the fully vaccinated population like a knife through butter. Please don't notice the obvious failure of vaccines to prevent the spread of Omicron. Please don't notice the fact that a great many of those dying will be double- and triple-vaccinated seniors.

I love Matt Taibbi's take on this issue. Taibbi is so open and congenial that much of the mainstream press considers him to be one of their own. He's not. Taibbi just eviscerates the mainstream media here:

He clearly identifies how the US media is controlled: "Jimmy Kimmel Live, fast becoming Leonid Brezhnev’s never-realized dream of a Soviet Tonight Show, just put out a high-effort gag called 'Anti-Vax Barbie.'” He then talks about how Kimmel shamelessly panders to the worst prejudices of his liberal audience. He finishes with this zinger: "While the shame campaign has been a catastrophe as public health strategy, it has been effective as aristocratic misdirection, a way to keep the public’s eyes off the vault. Maybe that’s what it’s for."

Which gets us to the second purpose of COVID theatre: It distracts people from noticing how relentlessly the rich are getting richer while everyone else is getting poorer.

FREE PRESS TEST

A week from today, the Fareed-Tyson study should come out in peer-reviewed form. It's a study comparing 7,000 patients who got early COVID treatment against a control group that got no early treatment. The rate of hospitalization and death in the group that got early treatment was more than 99% lower than the group that got no early treatment.

The obvious implications of this study is that the large majority of the 2,000 people who died of COVID in BC, the 30,000 that died in Canada, and the 800,000 that died in the US died unnecessarily, killed by Governments wedded to a religious ideology that no early treatment was possible.

If we have anything like a free press in North America, the release of that bombshell study should get immense amounts of media coverage. If CBC's The National doesn't cover the story, you'll know it has clearly become the propaganda arm of the Canadian Government. Perhaps then it would be easier if they just change the name to to the CPC: The Canadian Propaganda Corporation.

What's interesting is that most of the population has figured out what's going on. Only 10 percent of Americans now trust the news media to give them accurate information about COVID. Only 30 percent trust Fauci.

I'm sure the mainstream press will continue to blame this mistrust on 'COVID mis-information.' I suppose technically this is correct. People do distrust the mainstream media because of COVID mis-information - the COVID mis-information they read every day in the mainstream press!

I feel lighter these days. Perhaps that's why I want to leave you with this:
