Though I can't help feeling that what is happening to the adults of Israel is karma writ large, the children of Israel who have been killed, maimed, or permanently traumatized in this conflict are no more guilty than the children of Gaza. For their sake - and for the Israeli protesters who have been holding up pictures of slain Palestinian children - I hope there is no Round Two to this conflict.
For that matter, we're all at risk of WW3 erupting with devastating effect if this blows up again. Whatever issues I might have with Donald Trump, I fully support him in making the ceasefire permanent. There's already been too much death. Even better if he could extend the ceasefire to Gaza.
